Program Overview
Engaging with Future Technicians
We actively collaborate with schools and industry partners to attract and support aspiring technicians:
- High School & College Partnerships – Annual scholarships for automotive students in Hamilton, Burlington, and Guelph high schools and at Mohawk, Fanshawe, Conestoga, and Niagara Colleges.
- Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) Engagement – Collaborating with high schools to attract students interested in automotive careers.
- College Liaison & Job Fairs – Actively recruiting apprentice technicians through college partnerships and career events.
- GM ASEP Integration – Partnering with General Motors’ ASEP Program to offer additional student incentives, including:
- Enrollment Bonus – Awarded after completing the first ASEP term and maintaining employment.
- Graduation Bonus – Earned upon obtaining the Red Seal Certificate of Qualification.
- Summer Job Opportunities – Hands-on shop experience before formal apprenticeship enrollment

- Automotive Apprenticeship Tuition Coverage – Full reimbursement of college tuition fees for the 310S Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program, including costs related to parking or public transit.
- Certification of Qualification Exam & Prep Course Reimbursement – We cover the Certificate of Qualification exam fee upon passing, as well as the college prep course to support success.
- Tool Credit – Upon achieving 310S certification, apprentices receive a credit towards tools to help them advance in their career.

Apprentice Criteria & Expectations
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must register with the apprenticeship board within one month of hire and submit a signed copy to the Service Manager.
- Attendance and punctuality must be exceptional.
- Must exemplify the core values of our organization.
